A disputation is a formal academic defense of a dissertation or thesis, typically required to complete a doctoral degree. It involves presenting the research to an audience of experts, followed by a critical discussion and questioning by a committee or external reviewers. The goal is to demonstrate the candidate's expertise in the subject, defend their research methodology and conclusions, and contribute to the academic discourse in their field.

For my disputation, I defended my dissertation on "Digital Activation in Sports Sponsorship", which explored how technology, particularly digital tools and platforms, enhances the engagement between brands, sports organizations, and fans. My role was to present key findings, articulate the theoretical and practical implications, and address critical questions from the academic committee. This process required thorough preparation, including a deep understanding of the methodology, results, and broader impact of my research on the field of sports marketing and sports management.
